Braised Pork Knuckle still as good as first tried it many years back. The 梅菜 goes well with it too. The queue forms as soon as the stall is about to open.

At $8 per pop i was thinking they better be better than average $5 bkt. And Eng Kee actually delivered. Preserve vege cost $3. One bkt comes with 3 long pork rib. Pretty meaty. While I can't say it is tender and totally off the bone, it was pretty clean when i was done with it. Taste wise it is definitely better than average. Soup was just right in term of peppery. Preserve vege while not strong in taste was actually surprisingly balance that you don't feel that it is too salt. Overall definitely a stand out bkt that gives quality rib and better than average taste.

The pork knuckles were braised to perfection, resulting in tender meat and blackened bones that were bursting with flavor. The dish paired beautifully with a bowl of rice. The sauce was incredibly aromatic and delicious. I also ordered a bowl of preserved vegetables, which had just the right balance of saltiness and could be enjoyed on its own. The price was $8 per item for the pork rib, pork knuckles, or stomach soup, which I found reasonable considering the high quality of the food. The popularity of the store was evident, with many customers arriving before opening time. It's clear that this establishment has built a loyal following and lives up to its reputation.

Came by and the stall just started business. Ordered their Bak Kut Teh, Braised pork leg, preserved veg and rice. Bak Kut Teh soup is good, but the meat on the spare rib isn't fall off the bone type. It gives a bite. Serving portion of the pork leg is generous. Again, the meat still preserves some bite, the skin is soft and gelatinous. The gravy on the pork leg is a must to be added to my bowl of rice. Preserved veg is soft but nothing too outstanding.

The absolute best pig trotters I have eaten. The braised sauce is super flavourful and very well infused with the pig trotters. There is a good fat meat ratio and that is sooo rare in Singapore where most stalls avoid the fats with a nine foot pole. The lean portion is also super tender and everything goes so well with the rice and the Mei cai, which is not too salty to balance out the pig trotter dish. The bak kut teh soup is also quite nice but the pork rib is tough so not really recommended. Just go for the pig trotter and Mei cai!

Old timer stall in amk. The soup used to be more peppery, but now it has lost some standard. Nevertheless the braised knuckle still preserved its quality and standard.

The braised pork trotter is the stand out. BKT soup is acceptable but not as outstanding at the braised pork trotter. Pricing is reasonable. They do not sell liver or liver.

This is perhaps the best pork trotter in Singapore $8 for a generous portion and $1 for rice. Total $9. Really filling. Must be very hungry to eat this alone. Otherwise, cannot finish

Eng Kee Bak Kut Teh, my favorite bak kut teh stall in Singapore! This stall is especially good, really hard to describe how this wins most bak kut teh stall in Singapore. One really has to try it oneself in order to understand. Regardless, I will try my best. But one metric is that they close really early. I went there on a Saturday at 2.30pm and the aunty told me that they are done for the day! The standard bak kut teh and soup set is $6.00. While pricey for a lunch meal, the soup and pork ribs are worth the price. I would normally ask for an extra portion of rice as well. The ribs are soft and flavorful unlike other pork ribs where the ribs are boiled till it has no taste. The clear soup is slightly spicy and sweet, just the way I like it. Really great meal for a rainy day. Parking is at the HDB carpark located near the HDB blocks behind the kopitiam.
